Catechism on the Sacrament of Matrimony
"The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament."(Catechism of the Catholic Church #1601).

Matrimony
Getting married is a blessed sacrament in the Church. It is a hope-filled time of celebrating God's grace through the love you share for one another. Your wedding day will be a very special day for you, and we want to help you prepare not just for the special day, but for your entire married life together.

The Sacrament of Matrimony is celebrated throughout the year.
