St. Mary’s Early Childhood Center’s(ECC) mission is to provide a safe, loving & healthy environment for each child to learn and grow into the child God created them to be.
Our childcare Facility is licensed by the state of Texas. We follow state guidelines within all classrooms of the ECC. The ECC enrolls children from 6 weeks old - 3 years old. Our staff follows a curriculum called Frogstreet that is age appropriate for all of the ages at the ECC. Our hours of operation are from 6:30am-6:00pm.
While there are no cameras in our classrooms, ECC uses a childcare management software called Brightwheel that allows parents, teachers, and administrators to communicate with one another. This software allows for daily updates including photos uploaded to your child's profile, daily meals, and daily activities that are held in the classroom and ECC as a whole. Profiles are updated by teachers throughout the day.
The ECC offers a state funded food program that provides daily breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.

ECC APPRECIATION
It's hard to beleive that the ECC just reached our 5-year mark! This last year has been extra special for us as we have seen been even more blessed by the love and support of other ministries in our parish. We would like to especially thank the Sewing Ministry for continuing to create our costumes, the wonderful Altar Society ladies that donated cookies for our Christmas Carol event as well as treats for the Feast day of St. Nick and the Guadalupanas for helping us celebrate the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe. In addition, we would like to thank Mrs. Cheryl Aucoin and her staff at Our Lady of Fatima for loving us the way they do. We have loved celebrating special events together and especially love seeing our ECC littles who have now aged out of our program, in the Fatima halls. What a blessing to be such a united family!
Of course, we wouldn't be here it wasn't for our hard working staff at the ECC. The love they show the littles in their care is second to none! Thanks to our parents as well for trusting us with their greatest treasures. St. Mary's is a great place to be!
We ask for your continued prayers for our ministry and thank you as well for the support you all have shown us throughout the years. ECC staff will be in the Narthex after mass. They have written their class wish list items on paper hearts. If you'd like to purchase an item, please pick up a heart on your way out. You can drop off any donations to the Parish Office. The Week of the Young Child
After celebrating The Week of the Young Child with Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday & Artsy Thursday, we ended the week with a little Open House for our ECC families to celebrate Family Friday! Big thanks to our awesome ECC staff and especially Elizabeth Mull for the beautiful balloon frame!
