Saturday December 3rd, from 9 am - 12:30 pm in the Ponzini Family Life Center, there will be a parent meeting and volunteer discernment day to share who and what Adore is; why Adore was chosen for St. Mary's; the history of the youth program since Adore joined the parish; the issues, changes, and needs moving forward; and how you can help.

Last Wednesday, October 19, 23 of our teens received the sacrament of Confirmation! Bishop Italo celebrated the sacrament with our community and reminded us to follow God's call through our vocation and service to others. Please continue to pray for our parish youth as they continue to follow Christ's call to holiness!
El pasado mirércoles 19 de octubre, 23 de nuestros adolescentes recibieron el sacramento de la Confirmación. 1. When is Confirmation Mass?
Confirmation Mass 2022 will be on Wednesday, October 19th at 7 pm.
2. How long is the confirmation program?
Each person to be confirmed must be enrolled in a youth group program at least one year PRIOR to beginning Confirmation preparation and must have maintained an 80% attendance record for that year and for the second year of sacrament preparation. At minimum, preparation for Confirmation is 2 years provided all other requirements have been met.
3. What classes do students need to attend?
Students entering the 10th grade or higher preparing for Confirmation must attend all Tuesday Confirmation sacramental preparation in conjunction with their Faith Formation classes on Thursdays. Weekly Sunday Mass attendance is also expected.
4. How does one know if they are ready to receive the sacrament of Confirmation?
Confirmation is a major step towards adult commitment to Jesus Christ. This must be a personal decision on the part of the candidate to be confirmed. Candidates should show a willingness to live out their faith in the world. The faithful fulfillment of the responsibility to attend weekly Mass will be taken into consideration when determining if your child is ready for the sacrament.
