Youth Ministry
A Guide to Faith Formation for Middle and High School Youth
Over the past many years, we in the Office of Faith Formation at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal have been working to develop for you and your family the most effective and dynamic youth programs that are designed to educate our youth in the Catholic faith as well as to encourage the spiritual growth of every teen. This year we are pleased to offer a variety of faith formation opportunities that are sure to accomplish these goals.
This year's youth ministry offerings include:
EDGE is part of our middle school youth ministry program for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm till 8:30pm in Kukral.
LIFE TEEN is a program through which the youth ministry team at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal tries to bring senior high teenagers closer to Christ through prayer, catechesis, and fun – Wednesday from 7:00pm till 8:30pm in Kukral. Every Sunday there is a LIFE TEEN Mass at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal – 5:30 PM. This year (2010) Life Nights will be held on the following Sundays after the LIFE TEEN Mass: February 7, 21, and 28; March 7, 14, and 21; April 11; May 2.
Confirmation Preparation for 10th graders and up who are preparing for the sacrament of Confirmation. Wednesdays 7:00 – 8:30 PM
Activities:
LIFE TEEN Masses are held every Sunday at 5:15 PM.
Life Nights for Confirmation students will be held on the following Sundays after the LIFE TEEN Mass: February 7, 21, and 28; March 7, 14, and 21; April 11; May 2. Confirmation Students are required to attend ten (10) LIFE TEEN Nights of their choice during the school year. Sign in sheets will be available in Ulm Hall.
Every Monday – FAITH nights – 6:30-8:30 PM at the Life House.
